about us

Smada Ltd was formed in 2014 and brought together a number of existing businesses, one of which has been running since 2000. The company is 100% owned and run by its directors, Paul and Ewa Adams.

Paul is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), having achieved first-time passes and qualifying in 1995. He has worked in finance since starting in public practice in 1989, holding senior finance positions within a number of companies and business sectors. Recently Paul was the Director of Finance for a financial services group and Smada still provides services to that group and associated companies. Prior to that Paul was a board member and Finance Director for a direct marketing group, a Financial Controller in property maintenance, and spent 12 years of steady career progression within the UK HO (and Geneva HQ) of a global company, namely the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, SGS.

Ewa is an accomplished professional artist, selling her paintings as fast as she can produce them. She has received many commissions, private and corporate, including a very large canvas that resides in the entrance to a UK Head Office of a major global pharmaceutical company. Ewa also brings her time and creative strengths to other parts of the business.

In addition to the directors, Smada has associations with a number of other individuals and firms who bring additional expertise and resource as and when required.
